Roll Off Dumpster Day

The City of Jackson is encouraging citizens of Jackson to participate in Roll-Off Dumpster Day, Saturday, February 11, 2012. Residents can take tree limbs, other yard debris, and household items to one of the following locations from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., weather permitting.

• Ward 1 Westbrook Road, east of soccer field
• Ward 2 James Davis & Sylvia Streets
• Ward 3 500 block West Fortification Street (between Palmyra & MLK Drive)
• Ward 4 Twelve Oaks Circle (west off Highway 18, just south of Metrocenter Mall)
• Ward 5 Isable School, 1716 Isable Street (south off Hill Street)
• Ward 6 Tennis Center South, 1517 McDowell Road
• Ward 7 Murrah Drive, east of Peachtree Street

Residents may bring all household furniture and appliances for disposal. However, tires, chemicals and gas tanks are not accepted in Roll off Dumpster program. Participants are required to place debris inside dumpster provided at the locations.

City business and residents living outside the city limits of the City of Jackson are not eligible to participate. Proof of residency may be required.
