Join us as we move the MS Youth Justice Movement forward! Jackson will be the second regional leadership meeting following the tremendously successful and inspirational MS Youth Hip Hop Summit @ JSU this past summer! We need YOUR voice to make it happen!
We set it off in Jackson this July and now is YOUR time to continue what we started! You did not have to attend the MS Youth Hip Hop Summit in Jackson to attend this event—just come prepared and willing to learn the necessary skills to be the best Youth Activists YOU can be!
Students will further enhance their leadership skills to become leaders in their schools and communities. Interactive workshops include:
-Effective Communications, Outreach, and Student Assembly
-Know YOUR Rights: handling harassment from authorities
-Creating the 1st Edition of the MS Youth Hip Hop Zine
-Art (music, visual, dance, etc…) and the Struggle
-MS Student Bill of Rights drafting
- ACTION ITEM: Taking it to the Streets!

This meeting will also include a planning session for the HIP HOP SUMMIT 2012! It’s ON!

*Ages 10-18 years old are welcome.
