ENCHANTING LOCAL MARKET ­ Buy direct from area producers and artisans.  You can have knives and tools sharpened and find fall produce, caramel cakes, jams, jellies, frozen foods, yard art, fresh baked breads, desserts, free-range eggs, handcrafted soaps, children¹s specialty items, hand knitted offerings, jewelry, art, and more.  Pick up breakfast and pause to enjoy live music this week by RALPH MILLER.

FELDER RUSHING ­ Our special guest this week for our Fall Plant Swap. Felder will be bringing his famous truck bed garden and his wealth of horticulture knowledge.  Hear what this local icon has to share about making your yard and garden an extraordinary retreat!  Bring your favorite plant(s) to share.  Select one of your favorites for the Main Event Drawing (results announced at 10:30am) Then use your other Œbabes¹ to barter for something new to add to your Garden ŒHaven¹.

MARKET JAVA ­ $10 per pound.  Custom roasted in Mississippi especially for the Market in 1# bags.  Choices include Kenyan and Columbian Organic Fair-Trade (ground and whole bean).  Purchase a Market mug, bring it with you every week and your java is half price ­ all you can drink!

LOVE¹S SHARPENING ­ Tim Love is back and ready to use his awesome honing skills to sharpen your knives, scissors, clippers and garden tools, while you wait, have breakfast or peruse the Market for holiday gifts and/or special items that are sure to catch your eye.

STUFFINGS will be back this week with Crawfish sausage on a stick! Check out Paul¹s weekly special featuring one of his delicious Stuffed French Breads. Be sure and stop by for a sample.  Paul will also have New Orleans style red beans along with tasty sweet breads and Italian twist breads.  His varied selection of frozen breads include: spinach and cheese, muffaloaf, crawfish, and shrimp.  He also sells his crawfish sausage packaged for your freezer.  Cinnamon Coffee Cake, Date Nut Cake and Diabetic Date Nut Cake are awesome!

FLYING M FARM will have A La Carte limited offerings of certified organic fresh vegetables and fresh eggs.  Stop by and visit with Charlie about Flying M Farm’s CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) and also about his next offering of grassfed beef and lamb.  You may email Charlie at flying_m_farm@hotmail.com.

CHINQUAPIN FARM will have fresh fall butter lettuce, free range eggs, Pecan Smoked Pulled Pork Tamales, Chicken Black Bean Tomatillo Tamales, and Asparagus Vegetarian Tamales with roasted red bell pepper strips. LEEANN¹S TORTES will be at the Market this Saturday and will have original almond, caramel almond, raspberry swirl, key lime, chocolate, caramel and lemon tortes.  Stock up now for the holidays. CLEO ROGERS will be on hand this week with her famous caramel cakes, pies, cupcakes and her unique salsa.  Stop by for a chat with Cleo ­ she loves to share samples of her delicious baked goods and salsa! TINY SAFARI is a new vendor at the Market this week. Lesley Carter will offer original baby carriers, restaurant highchair/shopping cart covers, nursing covers and other baby travel accessories. TISHA GREEN will be offering her wonderful children¹s books.  Three original children¹s picture books (ages 3 ­ 5 or so) and a Christmas story for ages 5-9 or so.  The Christmas story spins a Œyarn¹ about ordinary socks turning into Christmas stockings.  These make great little gifts or stocking stuffers. DEBI COX will be at the Market this Saturday with a beautiful assortment of crystal and ribbon jewelry, unique “design-your-own” watches and adorable cell phone charms.  Stop by for that perfect gift or maybe just something special for yourself.

CARAMEL CAKE FACTORY will be at the Market this Saturday with Caramel Cakes in various sizes.  They will also have cookies, pralines, and their wonderful caramel by the tub ­ use it as a topping or create your own delicious desserts.

PHYLLIS HURLEY will be on hand and continuing her support of UWEC.  Phyllis will be featuring beautiful patchwork aprons and hot pads.  Other offerings include circle purses, hand-made cloth dolls in traditional African dress featuring batik and tie-dye.  Also wall hangings, decorative balls, woven fiber baskets and jewelry made of paper and nuts.  Ask Phyllis for more information how this non-profit is changing lives of women and their families in Uganda.
