Vicksburg National Military Park will be showcasing an exhibit in the park Visitor Center in honor of Black History Month. The exhibit is entitled "Civil War Tribute: The Artwork of J. Kim Sessums." Dr. Sessums is the artist who sculpted the African American Monument in the park. The exhibit will include paintings and bronze works of United States Colored Troops. The exhibit will run through the month of Februrary and is free upon admission to the park which is $8.00 per vehicle.
