Each Tuesday, Baby Bookworms Storytime for children ages birth-36 months is at 9:30 a.m., and Preschool Storytime for children ages 3-6 is at 10:30 a.m. The event includes stories, rhymes and music. A puppet show is given on the last Tuesday of the month.

Mississippi Pulp Con

The annual event is a showcase of eclectic talent in genres such as comic art, pop art and pulp literature. Special guests include artist Billy Tackett, author Dr. Alan Brown, filmmaker Richard Landry and representatives from the Mississippi Society of Paranormal Investigators. The event also includes vendors and film screenings. Alia Thabit gives a dance workshop Feb. 11 from 3-6 p.m. ($45). MissiHippy hosts the Black Hearts Ball Feb. 11 at 9 p.m.
