Crime map/stats?

I seem to remember that not long ago someone (Knol?) had come up with a map that shows where all the crimes are happening in the Jackson area. If that is still available and up-to-date, can someone post a link? Or if you know of any other good, reliable sources to find statistics on the crime rate in different areas, that would also be helpful.

The reason I ask is that I am looking to move to the Belhaven/Fondren area and I need some ammo to prove to certain people that I am perfectly sane in my decision-making.

I don't have the updated version of the map... I haven't seen any crime numbers released lately.

Here's a link to the stats I loaded in July of last year:

I'm not even sure I have the date range for that data any longer.... But, as you can see, Belhaven/Fondren have minimal crimes.

Thanks Knol! That actually helps a lot, and I see that there is minimal crime in those areas. It's proving that to my parents that is going to be the problem!!
