We have the regular stream, and online we have a classical 24/7 station and after the first of the year we'll have a channel dedicated to arts and culture.
Anything you like on MPB Radio?
We've got a couple podcast, the Gestalt Gardener with my boy Felder and the Southern Remedy health program.
What kinds of things would get you more engaged with MPB Radio?

I enjoy listening to NPR programs. Also, this past Saturday night, you all played a special on Johnny Cash? Can you check to see if and when this will re-air?

Yep, Jason Klein is the Director of Radio, I sent him an email and I'll get back with you on it.

It used to be known as PRM (Public Radio in Mississippi). It's a statewide network. You can find them in Jackson on 91.3. They're mainly in NPR in the day and weekends and classical the rest of the time.

I *heart* the Gestalt Gardener, but I miss Dr. Dirt something fierce.
I enjoy the NPR programs a lot, too, and I love Thacker Mountain Radio when I can catch that. I would like to hear more local shows like that.

Oh, I know about them. Didn't know they changed.

Hey music chick, I talk to Felder every Friday and help him with some web stuff a good bit on his sites. I was sad to see Dirt leave but that stuff happens. Felder still does his thing and there is a new radio garden feature on on mpbonline.org where he takes a small garden and shows you how he maintains it every week.
The Gestalt Gardener is on iTunes and the NPR directory for you to download too, even old shows with Dr. Dirt are on there.

L.W. I think they changed from PRM to MPB Radio when they dropped ETV for MPB. Since our agency does so so much more than just radio and TV they wanted to rebrand to represent that change.

Cool, I didn't know about downloading the older shows... I need to check that out (yes I do at least have Itunes and had an Ipod until it got wet and ruined! I guess I'm not that much in the dark ages!). I like the new "radio garden," too.

Changes on the way at MPB
Among the changes: the nighttime classical music is gone, as well as Sunday repeats of NPR shows.
