Alright. I'm getting sick of Youtube. I don't know if anyone has noticed, but its just about impossible to accurately search for topics. Also, I don't know if anyone has noticed, but Mississippi is horribly under-represented on Youtube. The bulk of what comes up with a basic search of "Mississippi" consists of crappy quality band footage and church mission trips of kids coming down to the Mississippi Gulf Coast to slum it for a week. While I appreciate their efforts, I don't think 50 or so videos on Youtube is really needed. LOL.

What I'm saying is, where are all the young, happening, wanna-be, Mississippi film-makers? I know there are some people out there who have a medium quality video camera, time, patience, and windows movie maker! Hop to it! I would say I'd get out there and start making some documentaries myself, but I'm a little shy on cash right now. LOL.

There you go gang, thats the charge to the jury. I hope somebody posts some good videos about this great state.

(Also, I think it would be great to hook up some kind of "Mississippi or Jackson Group" on Youtube and link it up through Jackpedia. Pay attention, Donna. I'm giving you gems, here.)

Ok, I just spent the last hour on Blinkx. I have to say, it sucks too. Its just videos people have ripped from television. There hardly is any user created material.

What if you created the kind of Web site you wanted, like a Mississippi YouTube or something?

If I knew anything about design, I think that would be great.

I'm the web admin for MPB and I've been throwing up all kinds of stuff to YouTube that's Mississippi based. (Granted most are programing related back to Katrina)

Just uploaded 2 new ones concerning The War - the Mississippi Experience for a new show.


I've been trying to find some new media to help promote the state but like you can't find much. I've tried youtube, metcafe, and been on Blinkx.
