Whole Foods Market Grand Opening
The City of Jackson is open for business and proud to announce the grand opening of Whole Foods Market on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Highland Village, 4500 I-55 North.
The 34,000 square-foot store features specialties like nutritional supplements, an in-store smoked barbeque, organic salad bar, natural body care products, beer growler filling station, and the Yazoo Bend Coffee & Taproom with 4 beers on tap.
Mayor Chokwe Lumumba knows that retailers of this magnitude create more jobs for citizens and has the potential to generate an economic boost in Jackson.

The grand opening event will kick off at 8:00 a.m. with a bread-breaking ceremony with remarks from company and city officials and a raffle for Whole Foods Market gift cards ranging in value from $5 to $500. The doors are open to the public at 9:00 a.m.
