conceived the overall look and manages the design of the Jackson Free Press. He is an assistant graphic design professor at Jackson State University. A Delta State University grad, Jimmy is also a freelance graphic and Web designer.

was executive editor of University Press of Mississippi for 15 years. A writer, editor and folklorist, she is a Crown Publishing editor-at-large and is writing a book with civil-rights fighter Unita Blackwell. She is the widow of writer Willie Morris.

, an Elvis and cat fanatic, is a Jackson native. She has been a bartender and manager for several years.

Herman Snell
is a father, Jackson native, Eagle Scout, amateur geneologist, and abstract painter who incorporates movement into his art. He was the W.C. Don's DJ in the late 80's, early 90's, and has written for alternative music, surreal prose, experiental film, futurist, lateral thinking, and philosophy publications.
